Candy Talk Records is back with its seventeenth release featuring new reworks of Dreams by label head, DJ Colette. Through a shared love of Fleetwood Mac and a collaboration over two decades in the making, Colette brings her friend and east coast deep tech maestro, Pete Moss, into the fold.

The original song was authored by none other than the Welsh Witch herself, the venerable Stevie Nicks. This song was written at the Record Plant studio in the Bay Area in 1976, during a tumultuous time in the bands history. Dreams is the second single off of their Grammy award-winning eleventh studio album, Rumours.

Known for his outer space dance floor excursions on labels such as Ovum, Dessous, Alola, Definity, and Large Music, Philadelphia's Pete Moss is enlisted to deliver three emotive variations of Dreams.

Crafting a prolific catalog of music that is as timeless as it is genre-bending, the New England native conjures up a vivid and dreamlike state with his take on this iconic song. Synth arpeggios, saturated pads, and intersecting string arrangements create a sublime atmosphere from which Moss dubs out Colette's original vocals in and around the spatial designs. Moss delivers three mixes on this single with a full vocal mix, a dub mix, and an instrumental mix that works as a second dub mix featuring an even more abstracted use of Colette's endearing vocals.
